Last month, construction walls were set up on the left side of the flowerbed at the entrance to Disneyland Park. The walls were eventually moved to the right side of the flowerbed. Thankfully, the construction walls have now been completely removed from the entrance plaza.

The flowerbed displays a design of purple and white flowers that make up Mickey’s face in the park’s usual style. Green flowers are on the left and right of Mickey in a swirl design. While the construction walls have disappeared from the plaza, the lamp posts on both sides have been removed as well.

It’s likely that the lamp posts were removed for routine painting or cleaning maintenance and will be installed back in their usual places.

Construction work at the entrance gates of Disneyland Park has also been ongoing for the installation of new “tapstiles.” The first set of new gates opened for pre-launch in December. Half of the new Disney California Adventure entrance gates have also been completed. The gates feature new digital screens attached to the gates as well as the roof above.
