“It’s all led up to this…” Scardapane wrote on Instagram. “Such a mix of emotions as we close out S1. So grateful for the cast, crew and studio for their confidence and indulgence. Biggest of thanks to Sana, Brad, Kevin, Lou, Aaron, Justin, Charlie, Vincent, Deb, Jon and the whole mad circus. And yeah, Season 2 March 2026.”

The first season of the MCU series was originally to be 18 episodes. When it was significantly overhauled in 2023, this was split into two seasons. Filming already began for season two in February and will last until July. The first episode of the second season is to be directed by Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson.

“Daredevil: Born Again” had the best streaming debut of any Disney+ show so far this year. Watch the trailer below.

The series is a follow-up to the Netflix “Daredevil” show that ran from 2015 to 2018. It features returning cast members Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / Punisher, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter / Bullseye.

Bernthal will also reprise his role as the Punisher in a Marvel Special Presentation. Reinaldo Marcus Green will direct and write the script with Bernthal. It’s scheduled for release next year, too.
