In our last update, we observed that crews had started to construct additional cabins. In our recent visit to the construction site, we observed that the cabins have received a coat of paint.

Two small, colorful houses behind a green chain-link fence, surrounded by tall trees and greenery under a clear blue sky. A wooden structure is seen in the foreground.

The cabin on the left has been painted a shade of red, while the one on the left has been painted a shade of tan. Previously, both cabins had a yellow exterior color.

A partially constructed house with a slanted roof is behind a green mesh fence. A construction worker in a yellow vest is visible. Tall trees surround the area.

Plastic covers the front window of the cabin and the wood siding near the front glass panels. We also saw crew members on the ground beginning to construct the deck of the cabin.

Construction equipment, boxes, and wooden beams cover the ground behind the fence.

The framework for the deck being built is visible through the mesh scrim on the chain link fence.

Over the fence, we saw a crew member on a ladder adding grey paint below the awning of the roof.

The new DVC cabins are stand-alone and can sleep up to six adults. They are inspired by the resort’s idyllic setting and also pay homage to the resort’s unique culture and heritage. The cabin features include a bedroom, bathroom, living room, full kitchen, and private patio.
