The light-up popcorn bucket ornaments have arrived at Walt Disney World after first being released on the Disney Store and at Disneyland Resort.
These Christmas ornaments resemble classic Disney popcorn buckets inspired by R2-D2, Cinderella’s coach, an alien from “Toy Story,” and the Elliott float from Main Street Electrical Parade.
The ornaments are available in Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom.
R2-D2 Popcorn Bucket Ornament – $29.99
This ornament resembles R2-D2 from “Star Wars.” The red arrow on his front is a sticker pointing to the button that activates the light effect.
It has a silicone strap reading “Star Tours The Adventures Continue.”

The original R2-D2 popcorn bucket was released many years ago during Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
R2’s domed head has a hinge and lifts up, revealing “popcorn” inside.
The popcorn is a translucent yellow with golden specks.
When activated, the light flickers from inside the popcorn.
Cinderella’s Coach Popcorn Bucket Ornament – $29.99
This ornament is inspired by the Cinderella’s Coach popcorn bucket, which has been re-released multiple times. The original popcorn bucket was released in 2015 for the live-action “Cinderella.” Other versions include the white 70th Anniversary Wedding Coach bucket and the Disney100 platinum Cinderella Coach bucket.
The “C” crest on the coach door acts as the button. Cinderella is pictured inside the coach, which is light blue with gold accents.

Each ornament’s battery compartment is on the button.

The top of the coach flips up.
Just like the R2-D2 ornament, a flickering light is beneath the popcorn.
The silicone strap is dark blue with a sparkling magic design.
Alien Popcorn Bucket Ornament – $29.99
This ornament is sculpted like a Little Green Man from the “Toy Story” franchise. This bucket originated as a passholder exclusive offering at Disneyland’s 2018 Pixar Fest and has been re-released since. Like the Cinderella bucket, there have been multiple versions of the bucket, including a Halloween version.

This ornament is inspired by the original, with the alien wearing a blue jumpsuit with a purple collar and Pizza Planet logo.

The lime green strap features images of aliens in different poses, some admiring or being picked up by The Claaaaaw.
The alien’s mouth opens to reveal the light-up popcorn inside.
Main Street Electrical Parade Elliott Popcorn Bucket Ornament – $29.99
This ornament resembles the 2022 Elliott popcorn bucket honoring 50 years of the Main Street Electrical Parade. It’s sculpted and painted like the Elliott float, complete with dozens of light-up spots, webbed wings, and a purple mohawk.

Elliott originated from the 1977 Disney film “Pete’s Dragon.”

It has a black strap with the Disneyland Resort wordmark and images of other Main Street Electrical Parade floats.

Elliott’s back opens. In addition to the popcorn, the spots across his body also light up, just like the real parade float.
