The new Tauntaun bucket has arrived at Disneyland for Season of the Force 2025, a celebration of all things “Star Wars.”

Tauntaun Bucket – $35

A Tauntaun toy creature with a saddle and bridle stands proudly on a metal cart, surrounded by various objects under sunlight.

Tauntauns first appeared in “Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.” Han Solo famously cuts open a dead one that Luke was using as a mount and puts the freezing-cold Skywalker inside to save his life.

The Tauntaun is a light gray color, which helps it blend in with its snowy surroundings on Hoth. It has two curved beige horns on the side of its head, under its ears. It has a light tan snout, brown eyes, and square teeth.

A Tauntaun toy creature with a saddle is displayed on a cart beside paper bags, reminiscent of a whimsical scene from another galaxy. People mill about in the background, enjoying the lively outdoor setting.

It’s depicted with a brown saddle on its back.

The saddle lifts up to reveal the opening — perfect for storing tiny hypothermic Jedi! Thankfully, the Tauntaun bucket doesn’t smell bad on the outside or inside.

A hand grips a brown fabric strip, linking it to a quirky gray dinosaur toy nestled in a shopping cart, reminiscent of the playful spirit in a Tauntaun Bucket adventure.

It includes a detachable brown strap with a leather-like texture pattern.

There is a limit of two Tauntaun buckets per person. It is available at the following locations in Disneyland Park:

  • Galactic Grill Seasonal Novelty Release on mobile order (Available with a side of french fries)
  • Beverage carts in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (Available with Galma Garlic Puffs or Popped Grains)
  • Kat Saka’s Kettle

Other souvenir novelties include the light-up Death Star bucket, Coaxium sipper, lightsaber swizzle sticks, and Mythosaur mug. If you’re a fan of Hoth, check out the upcoming Hoth-inspired May the 4th collection. Read our full guide to Season of the Force. The “Star Wars” celebration runs through May 11, 2025, to honor Star Wars Day on May the 4th.
