Looking ahead to the next 10 years, Oriental Land Company is looking to place greater focus on overseas tourism and working with international travel agencies.

In the 2035 Long-term Management Strategy document released by Oriental Land Company (OLC), there are several mentions to increasing overseas guests over the next decade, indicating OLC’s focus on not just domestic tourists from Japan, but Disney fans traveling from all over the world to Tokyo Disney Resort.

In the section detailing plans for growth in OLC’s theme park segment, it is mentioned that the company seeks to “strengthen [their] appeal for overseas guests by “strengthen[ing] [their] collaboration with OTAs [online travel agencies] as sales channels,” and “aim to expand [the] Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages range for overseas guests.”

This means that OLC is considering making more Vacation Packages that will be sold specifically to foreigners, and collaborating with online travel agencies to secure those international travelers.

From an international perspective, Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages, as they are currently, are somewhat expensive and occasionally difficult to book due to demand, and because the Tokyo Disney Resort website is not optimized to serve travelers from English-speaking countries. Packages can include a variety of amenities, from park and attraction tickets to vouchers for restaurants, snacks, and merchandise, and even special merchandise that is only available to those who purchase a specific package.

The colorful facade of the theme park attraction features ornate geometric patterns, spires, and a sign reading "Small World" near the entrance. In Tokyo Disneyland, this enchanting ride occasionally dons a Marvel overlay featuring characters like Groot.

OLC is also considering ways to stimulate demand through special park offerings that can only be experienced in the summer, and growing net sales per guest by enhancing existing services like Disney Premier Access and Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages, and setting optimal prices while considering the external environment and guest demand. OLC is also exploring new revenue models for the theme park segment.

Specific details on how OLC expects to appeal to international travelers specifically and cater to that market with Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages have not been shared, though OLC has also teased potential land overhauls at Tokyo Disneyland, an expansion of Tokyo DisneySea, considered construction of new Disney hotels, and hinted at the possibility of a second Disney Cruise Line ship in Japan.
