Virtual Line return times for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry at Epic Universe are now being offered at random times throughout the day, rather than at set drop times.

Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry Virtual Line Update

A sign for "Harry Potter and the Battle for the Ministry" states the attraction is in technical rehearsal, with details about virtual line return and app information. People stand nearby.

Signage posted in the park includes a QR code that guests can scan for instructions on how to sign up to select a Virtual Line return time. The Virtual Line return time is required to experience the attraction, and a standby line is not being offered at this time. The sign also details that the attraction is still in technical rehearsal.

Just a few days ago, signage was added in Epic Universe for instructions on how the Virtual Line process would work. Return times were offered at set times throughout the day, including at 12 p.m., 3 p.m., and 6 p.m. Now the times are not set and will be made available throughout the day. Guests are encouraged to check the Universal Orlando Resort app for more details.

When the resort app was updated to include Epic Universe, there were rumors that Virtual Lines would be used as the lands had “Virtual Lines” designations listed under their names, but this was removed shortly after.

In March, Universal filed a new trademark for the phrase “Virtual Line.” Currently, they use this terminology when referencing their virtual queueing system with a “VL” logo. The trademark indicates the use of virtual lines, such as what is being used now for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry.

Epic Universe is now hosting previews for Universal Orlando Annual Passholders. Stay tuned for more of our coverage from inside the new park.
