Walt Disney World has released the dates and details for the upcoming Disney Springs Flavors of Florida, an annual culinary event featuring menu items with ingredients grown and harvested in the Sunshine State.
Disney Springs Flavors of Florida Returns
The annual event returns this year for its sixth summer, kicking off on June 27 and running through August 10. The menu lineup will include over 90 items inspired by Florida fare from more than 45 locations in Disney Springs, making this year’s event the biggest Flavors of Florida so far.
Learn from Disney Springs Chefs with Weekly Culinary Series
Happening on select Fridays throughout the event, chefs from several Disney Springs restaurants will showcase the process behind crafting this year’s menu items.
During the culinary series, guests can enjoy cooking demonstrations. Registration is required, but free. More details on how to sign up will be released at a later date.
Pairing Events for the Discerning Diner
Pairing events will return for this year’s Flavors of Florida, in which Disney Springs “experts” will host dinner with cocktail, wine, and beer pairings with flavors inspired by Florida. Like the culinary series, registration is required, but this experience is paid. Payment will be due at the time of registration. More information will be shared at a later date.
Seek and Find Even More to Do at Disney Springs
A “Discover the Springs seek and find” will also be available during the event. Guests can pick up the free event guide at select locations, and turn in their completed map for a special surprise.
New Menu Items to Wow Your Senses
Chefs at Disney Springs have spent the last year creating new and unique appetizers, entrees, and desserts to enjoy for this year’s Flavors of Florida. A full list of food and beverages will be released at a later date on the Disney Parks Blog.
A Second Chance to Enjoy Returning Favorites
Select dishes will be returning this year, including the St. Augustine Datil Pepper Fritas at The Daily Poutine. This crispy pork dish features a datil pepper sauce and Florida hearts of palm slaw, with beer cheese crafted from Sunshine Stroll Orange Pilsner.
Sunshine Stroll was first introduced during last year’s Flavors of Florida as a Disney Springs exclusive, and chefs worked to include it in various dishes like the one above.
Returning to Swirls on the Water will be the Orange Bird Cone. This dessert combines DOLE Whip Orange in an orange cone, topped with sprinkles and a chocolate piece featuring Orange Bird. Read our review of this treat from 2024.
Stay tuned for a full list of food and beverages once it is released.
