According to the Orange County Register, Walt Disney Imagineering will update Soarin’ Around the World at Disney California Adventure in the “coming weeks.”

Soarin’ Around the World was closed for a brief refurbishment from April 28 through May 1. The update will not be in place for the May 2 reopening but will be added soon.

The EPCOT version of Soarin’ was updated in November, replacing the Eiffel Tower scene and the finale. The latter scene was changed to reflect the park’s reimagining and now shows the World Celebration Gardens.

The new Eiffel Tower footage has a wider view of the Parisian landmark, including more of the city and the Seine River. The curved appearance of the tower was due to the curvature of the Soarin’ screen.
