Michael Moriarty, the managing director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, has shared new images of the first-ever parade float themed specifically to Duffy and his friends.

The images were first shared by Moriarty on his official Instagram account along with the caption, “Party mode ON! Duffy and Friends will make history at @hkdisneyland with their first-ever themed parade float for our 20th anniversary! Make sure to join them at the Friendtastic! parade and celebrate #TheMostMagicalPartyofAll!”
A preview of the Duffy float was first revealed as concept art for the new “Friendtastic!” parade, which will be the largest-ever in scale at Hong Kong Disneyland. The parade, which is expected to last around 30 minutes, will include 11 floats, about 100 performers, and over 30 Disney characters. Other floats already revealed as art include Baymax and characters from “Big Hero 6,” “Encanto,” “Zootopia,” and more.
Duffy and friends are seen standing on a green, floral-filled float with an upper level made to look like a treehouse. The post included both a wider shot of the whole float and closer images of Duffy with his friends.
Joining the bear on the float will be ShellieMay, LinaBell, StellaLou, Gelatoni, and CookieAnn. The concept art also included ‘Olu Mel, though he may just be placed on the opposite side of these pictures.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is celebrating its “The Most Magical Party of All” 20th anniversary with several new and updated entertainment offerings, not just the new parade. The nighttime show “Momentous” will receive a special 20th anniversary edition, while the Castle of Magical Dreams will be home to a new stage show called “Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle!”
The 20th anniversary celebrations are set to officially begin on June 28, 2025.
