About Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique

A person in a colorful, flowing outfit poses with arms outstretched in front of shelves filled with patterned boxes, evoking the magical spirit of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Inside Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, witches and wizards will find some of the finest wands in the world, designed by esteemed artisan wandmaker, Cosme Acajor. Acajor’s unique approach to wandlore, couture influence, and utilization of distinct wand cores results in an outcome that is not a wand, but a work of art.

Location

Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique is located in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, near Bar Moonshine.

Exclusive Wands

A display case with eleven Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, each labeled with a name on a brass plaque below.

There are ten wands exclusively available at Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique. These are all first generation wands, so they cannot be linked with the Universal Orlando App like the new second-generation interactive wands. An additional first generation wand and a second-generation interactive wand inspired by the land’s Phoenix Arch were released for the park’s grand opening but are not exclusive to Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique.

Each of the wands comes with a map of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic and a wand description written by Cosme Acajor herself. The wands are sold inside of a triangular box with unique wand logo on the end, as opposed to the more traditional rectangular boxes found in the other Wizarding World locations. Cosme Acajor is written in script on the front of each box.

Oak Wand – $65

The oak wand comes in a purple triangular box with blue and gold accents. A triangular sticker lists the type of wood on the side of the box for easy identification.

A hand holds an open purple Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique box displaying a fancy feathered quill pen inside.

The wand is described as follows: “One word encapsulates the look and feel of this polished black oak wand with a resplendent golden handle: élégance. And true élégance cannot be projected without courage and strength – both of which the owner of this exceptionally loyal baguette magique possesses in abundance. Oui, the witch or wizard who wields this wand knows what they want – and has not only the powerful intuition to go after it, but the ability to obtain it as well.”

The main portion of the oak wand’s handle is light blue, with golden accents included in carvings at the top of the handle and down the sides. More gold is painted in the cut-out sections near the end of the handle. The rest of the wood is black.

Willow Wand – $65

The willow wand comes in a blue box with gold and purple accents.

A hand holds a Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique wand in a blue display box inside a shop with wooden floors and shelves.

Per Acajor, “This stunningly-crafted willow wand boasts a golden and pearlescent accented handle featuring a single sirène against a sea of green. My fellow artists know that time spent near the water restores the soul and encourages inner reflection. The owner of this beautiful œuvre d’art understands that no matter how long the road ahead may seem, one must embrace challenges with a healthy balance of humility and gratitude for a life of continuous learning.”

The willow wand is light tan with a green handle reminiscent of a leaf. The handle, as described, has golden and pearlescent accents with a sirène located near the top.

Fir Wand – $65

The fir wand can be purchased inside a red box with black and gold accents.

A red folder with a vintage-style "Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique" label displayed at the top.

Acajor’s description of the fir wand states, “The intricate accents on this wand’s sleek handle bring to mind the copper cauldrons in which I first honed my extraordinary potion-making skills. However, the blue wood of this fir wand evokes the fiercest memories, as it mirrors the winter shadows on the Pyrenees mountains – where I often lost myself while collecting wood for my premiers designs as a young witch. Oui, this baguette magique is perfect for the strong minded, resilient, sometimes intimidating witch or wizard who knows what they want (perhaps for a lifetime) and possesses an exceptional strength of purpose.”

As mentioned in Acajor’s description, this wand is made of blue wood and copper. The wand and handle are made mainly of the blue-tinted wood, while there are swirls of copper around the handle. A larger copper ball somewhat resembling the shape of a cauldron connects the handle to the rest of the wood.

Vine Wand – $65

The vine wand also comes in a red, black, and golden-accented box.

Acajor explains, “The graceful, almost whimsical sweep of this swirled vine baguette magique contrasts beautifully with its geometrically embellished, brass-coloured handle. What may seem to the untrained eye to be a paradox of design is, in fact, a brilliant nod to the remarkable vision beyond the ordinary with which such a wand’s owner is most certainly blessed. The master of a vine wand possesses hidden depths perhaps only truly understood by those of us with similar profundity.”

This wand appears as if it is made of a continuous “vine” artistically wrapped around the ornate brass handle.

Holly Wand – $65

The holly wand comes in a purple box with blue and gold accents.

A hand holds an open Cosme Acajor box displaying a silver wand and card inside a shop with wood shelves.

Acajor’s decryption of the wand states, “The stylish, swirled handle atop my lacquered holly wand reflects the delicate balance the wielder of such a baguette magique must strike with their spell-casting. Some say the serene elegance of this handle helps centre those on a dangerous, perhaps spiritual, quest. (When said to me, I simply smile and nod; a true artiste touches hearts hearts and minds in ways she never realized.) One thing not open to interpretation, however, is that this rare and protective baguette magique is a perfect match for the impulsive witch or wizard, as it will happily temper such tendencies.”

The wand is black with a silver holly handle. It is carved in a wood-grained pattern with some windows for the black color peeping through the silver at the top.

Dogwood – $65

The dogwood wand has a similar blue box with a dark purple sticker and gold detailing.

A hand holds an open Cosme Acajor box displaying a decorative Baguettes Magique wand in a store with wooden shelves.

Acajor adds, “This chic, warm brown wand with a chartreuse accented handle is inspired by sunlight saturating the linden trees in a Parisian park on a spring afternoon – the perfect location for a little mischief and magique. And this dogwood wand is adept at both. Qu’est-ce que la-vie (what is life) – without a little whimsy? A dreadful test of endurance, certainly. The owner of this baguette magique knows this all too well, and certainement has a passion for play equal to their aptitude for magic.”

Along with the ombré chartreuse handle, this wand features golden accents along the base. The wood is a rich chocolate color that has slight variations in the tint.

Reed Wand – $65

The reed wand is the third to come in a box with the same flaming red color.

A Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique wand with a green ornate handle in a red velvet-lined box on a wooden surface.

Acajor’s sticker in this box reads, “Legendary, creative artists like me, are often inspired by each other’s works. Alors (so), it is no surprise that the green patina-coloured handle of this striking reed wand brings to mind immediatement the handsomely aged bronze statue in Sacré-Cœur. This connection to genius is no coincidence. A baguette magique of reed is frequently drawn to an owner both eloquent and bold in spirit – traits common among deep thinkers like us.”

Referred to in comparison to an aged bronze statue, this wand is light brown and textured. The green patina-coloured handle also appears to be weathered, giving it an almost antique finish.

Ivy Wand – $65

The ivy wand is another that comes in a royal blue triangular box with purple and gold accents.

To describe this ornate wand, Acajor explains, “If a wand could inspire confidence by its mere presence, it would be my ivy baguette magique. Its dazzling, pearlescent handle – in shades of sapphire rarely seen outside the Côte d’ Azur – brings to mind the whimsical Billywig. And this wand will elevate its owner’s magic just as the Billywig’s playful sting giddily levitates those in the magical creature’s path. Is it a coïncidence that such a wand is a parfait for those who easily rise above the fray and consistently overcome obstacles? I think not.”

The tip of the wand is red and fades from white into an ivy color. The handle is composed of shades of sapphire and bronze. The description references a Billywig, which is an in-world magical creature known for it’s blue pearlescent sheen similar to a beetle.

Rosewood Wand – $65

The rosewood wand also comes boxed in a blue container with purple and gold accents.

A hand holds an open Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique box, revealing a decorative wand on a wooden floor.

While Acajor described the last wand using a Billywig, this wand includes references to a butterfly, “The golden butterfly adorning the pastel blue handle of this baguette magique is capable of breathtakingly transformative spell-casting, particularly spells d’amour and spells that heal (in my experience, often one and the same.) Alors, the rosewood wand will pair only with a witch or wizard who is pure of heart – and who appreciates the thrill of witnessing the healing metamorphosis that only love can bring.”

The pastel blue and white of this wand’s handle are accented with golden lines. As Acajor described, the handle has a pattern similar to a butterfly’s wings. The rest of the wand is white.

Acacia Wand – $65

The last of the new non-character wands comes in a purple box with blue and gold accents.

A person holds an open purple Cosme Acajor box displaying a decorative Baguettes Magique wand in a store.

Acajor adds, “This Acacia wand design embodies the effortless combination of baroque élégance with the modern tailored look of Arts Décoratifs. The handsome yet unpretentious silhouette is perfect for the loyal acacia wand, which is best suited to those wielding beautifully understated, yet potent, magic. I always say that magique – it is an accident of birth – and that a happy accident! Recognizing their good fortune, the gifted owner of this wand will wield it with subtlety and grace.”

This wand has a gray and black baroque design. The handle has angled carvings and an intricate base with dark silver filigree. The handle has sharp corners and flat sides, as opposed to the usual rounded handle.

Ringmaster Skender Wand – $65

This is a replica of Skender’s wand as seen in “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” and Le Cirque Arcanus in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. The circus-inspired wand is a greenish-brown color with black detailing. There is no traditional handle on this wand. It simply has a dark red sphere and golden band detail at the base.

A hand holds a Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique box in a room with wooden floors and another person nearby.

Unlike the Cosme Acajor-exclusive wands, Skender’s wand comes in a standard rectangular box stamped with the wizard’s name on the end. It still includes a map of all spell locations.

Phoenix Wand – $65

A hand holds a Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique box with gold accents and a starburst design in the center.

This wand comes in a white rectangular box with gold detailing inspired by “Harry Potter” wands.

A hand holds an open Cosme Acajor box with a Baguettes Magique wand and certificate in a store with patterned boxes.

The wand sits in yellow-gold velour padding with golden chiffon draped over it.

This wand is inspired by the Phoenix Arch, which acts as the entrance to Place Cachée in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. It’s an ivory color with intricate details down the handle.

A shiny gold phoenix marks the start of the handle. This is based on a giant phoenix sculpture attached to the real archway.

Past the gold phoenix is carved floral filigree. Such carvings are also on the end of the handle.

Both Skender’s wand and the phoenix wand are available in the expanded Universal Studios Store in CityWalk.

Cosme Acajor Themed Merchandise

Cosme Acajor Merchandise Bag – $2.99

Guests purchasing wands or other merchandise at Cosme’s can buy a store-specific merchandise bag instead of a general plastic Universal bag. The bag is dark royal blue with “Cosme Acajor” written in the store’s usual script. It also has golden ribbon carrying handles. The width of the bag is perfect for wands purchased at the store. Pro-tip: these bags barely fit in ride lockers, so you may want to buy a larger locker at one of the concierge stations or wait until the end of your day to purchase.

Keychain – $15

This keychain has three unique charms representing Cosme Acajor. One is a golden recreation of the triangular box stamp seen on the wands. Another looks to be an open wand box with “Paris” and “Cosme Acajor” written across it. The last is a large emblem of the shop’s entrance sign.

Magnet – $14

Take a part of Cosme Acajor home with a magnet resembling the large chandelier hanging inside the shop. The fixture is silver and gold to compliment Cosme’s various wand designs. The shapes of wand-wielding figures are included on the center gold level.

Baguette Magique Pin – $10

A baguette magique wand pin is also available for purchase. The wand is gold with a blue gem set into the handle and has a hanging gold chain.

Cosme Acajor Crossbody – $70

The crossbody bag is similar in shape and size to the baguette magique boxes that Cosme’s wands are stored in for purchase. It is royal blue with gold accents and writing. There is also a compartment on the interior to hold a wand.

The ends of the bag look just like a Cosme Acajor box with the gold triangular wand design. The crossbody strap is blue with gold striping on either side.

Wand Utility Belt Bag – $65

Looking to carry your wand and other wizarding items around The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic? Look no further than this utility belt. It is made of brown leather, has a holster for a wand, and a zippered pouch for other small items. There is also a separate clip for additional attachments.

Drawstring Bag – $40

Lastly, there is a small, brown drawstring bag with a wand storage slot inside. The exterior of the bag features the Cosme Acajor Baguette Magique emblem of a wand radiating lines of light.
