Halloween Horror Nights & Holiday Overlays Confirmed to Return to Red Coconut Club in Universal CityWalk Orlando

The Halloween Horror Nights and holiday overlays of the Red Coconut Club at Universal CityWalk Orlando will return in 2025.

Dead Coconut Club

According to the Universal Orlando Resort calendar, the Red Coconut Club will be returning to its theme as the Dead Coconut Club for the Halloween Horror Nights season. The Dead overlay will reopen on Friday, August 29 — the same day HHN 34 starts at Universal Studios Florida. After the 29th, the club will be open on Wednesdays through Sundays all the way to the HHN conclusion on November 2.

Last year, the club’s Halloween theme included inspiration and actual props from the Vamp scare zones of previous HHN events. The theme usually changes at least slightly every year, so we don’t yet know if the vampire concept will return or be replaced with something new.

The club will then be closed for a few weeks to become the Green & Red Coconut Club, which is a similar Christmas overlay. This version will open on Friday, November 21, and operate Wednesdays through Sundays until the end of the year. Like its Dead counterpart, the Red & Green version includes winter decor, decorated Christmas trees, and various holiday props. Last year’s location was themed to a ski lodge with fake pine trees and ugly Christmas sweaters.

Though the first round of HHN 34 merchandise went on sale this week, tickets have not yet been released. No houses have been announced yet either, but speculation maps include references to “Fallout,” “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” and “Terrifier.”
