EPCOT

• The new Test Track sign has been installed in front of the attraction’s building, although it remains covered by black tarps.
• CommuniCore Hall is getting a “Gooftastic” overlay inspired by Goofy for Cool Kid Summer. Decals for the event are now up on the windows and doors of the venue.

• GEO-82, EPCOT’s new adults-only lounge near Spaceship Earth, is now a step closer to completion as the light fixtures inside the venue have been turned on for the first time.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

• Several years after it closed, the In Character Shop in Animation Courtyard has reopened to guests.
• The “Get Animated!” dance party and other new Animation Courtyard entertainment have soft opened for Cool Kid Summer. 

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• The renovation of Screen Door General Store at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is complete, and the shop has reopened.

Disneyland Resort

Disneyland Park

• Pixar Pals Playtime Party has taken over the Fantasyland Theatre.
• The original Tangaroa Tree located just outside Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room in Disneyland Park has been rebuilt, and the nearly-complete tree is now visible again above the construction walls.
• Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster is now closed for refurbishment in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Park.

Tokyo Disney Resort

• Several new snack-themed items have arrived at Tokyo Disney Resort, including new bucket hats and balloon holders.

Universal Orlando Resort

Epic Universe

• Super Nintendo World character meet and greets in Universal Epic Universe include Mario and Luigi, Toad, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong.

New Merchandise

• Before “Jurassic World Rebirth” hits theaters this July, new collections of merchandise inspired by the film and some previous “Jurassic Park” films has arrived at Universal Orlando Resort.

Entertainment and Media

• According to an article posted by Deadline, Captain Gantu “just didn’t work” for the live-action remake of “Lilo & Stitch.”
• This was the biggest Memorial Day weekend in history for movie theaters, thanks in part to Disney’s live-action “Lilo & Stitch.”

• The Walt Disney Company has purchased the exclusive streaming rights to “CoComelon,” previously held by Netflix.
