First revealed on the Disneyland Magic Key Instagram account, @disneylandmagickey, the resort is now selling a new Magic Key Insulated Cooler Bag. The bag is rectangular in shape with a Velcro flap lid over the top. The front has a cartoon-style image of Sleeping Beauty Castle with the Disneyland Magic Key wordmark. The gold crest on the top of the image also has “D70” for the Disneyland 70th anniversary.

The back of the bag, opposite the flap, is purple with attraction icons representing both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. The purple section is actually a wide slip pouch that can be used for storing items, such as the napkins.

The sides of the bag feature the same attraction icons, the Disneyland 70 logo written in gold, and the “D70” logo, which is also written in gold on a light blue box on the bottom. The “D70” and Magic Key wordmarks are printed on top of the purple flap.

The interior of the bag has an insulated lining and two pouches separated by a flat divider in the center. The pouches on either side are the same size as a standard popcorn box or a bottled beverage.

The lanyard attached to the cooler bag for carrying is light blue with Disneyland and Magic Key written repeatedly in gold script.

The cooler bags are available at select locations in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. The item is currently limited to one cooler bag per Magic Key holder per transaction. Discounts do not apply, and purchasers must present their Magic Key Pass at the time of purchase.

Interestingly, this insulated cooler bag design is not new. This same style of bag first originated at Tokyo Disney Resort, which calls the bag either a popcorn pouch or a popcorn case. Like the Disneyland version, the pouch has two divided sections in an insulated bag that are the same size as a standard popcorn box.

The Mickey balloon-shaped 70th anniversary popcorn bucket has also arrived a week before the celebration kicks off on May 16.
