The Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration begins on May 16, 2025, and the Disneyland Monorail has a new wrap in honor of the event.
The new wrap features the Disneyland Resort 70 logo in light blue, purple, and pink, all colors used in 70th Anniversary designs. Above the “70” is a pink silhouette of Sleeping Beauty Castle turrets. Along the bottom of the monorail are gold, blue, and purple stacked lines which continue down each monorail car.
On the other end section, is the celebration’s tagline and theme song, “Celebrate Happy.” The text is bubbly and is blue outlined with gold. On either side of the tagline are pink swirls.
Muti-colored stars and dots are scattered along each monorail cart and surrounding the text on either lead car.
The Disneyland Monorail has received other celebratory wraps in the past including a platinum 100th anniversary wrap and Mickey Mouse 90th Anniversary design.
Other 70th anniversary offerings include limited-time menu items, special merchandise, and themed PhotoPass lenses. The Paint the Night parade, “Wondrous Journeys” nighttime spectacular, and Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration parade will return.
New entertainment includes the “Tapestry of Happiness” projection show at “it’s a small world,” The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade featuring Duffy, “World of Color Happiness!” with a Muppets pre-show, and “Celebrate Happy” at Carthay Circle Theater.
