Disney announced via the Disney Parks Blog that new decor will be coming to Disneyland this year for the 70th anniversary.
Disneyland 70th Anniversary Decor

A 50-foot sculpture inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle will be located in the esplanade between Disneyland and California Adventure. The design will contain colorful glass panels and golden charms that represent the five original lands of Disneyland.

Inside the gates of Disneyland, a floral Mickey will welcome guests. It will feature a vibrant display of flowers. Multi-colored banners and bunting will decorate the Disneyland Railroad Main Street U.S.A. station and a large “70 Celebrate Happy” sign will be displayed at the top of the flowerbed.

Main Street U.S.A. will also be decorated and at the heart of Town Square will be a display that features Mickey and Minnie.

An elegant medallion with the number “70” will adorn the front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure will also be decorated in the 70th-anniversary colors. During the evenings, the exterior of the restaurant will “invite everyone to ‘celebrate happy’ during a special moment filled with music, lights and projection effects.” The display will be set to the music of “Celebrate Happy.” Carthay Circle and Buena Vista Street will also be illuminated with twinkling lights, dynamic projections, and bursts of color.
The Downtown Disney District will also be decorated in 70th-anniversary decor along with the Disneyland Resort hotels.
