One new structure has emerged behind the construction zone near Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney’s Hollywood Studios as work continues on adding more covered seating.

Disney has mostly been working on completing the existing roof structures by Woody’s Lunch Box to expand the amount of covered seating in Toy Story Land. However, a new structure has been added to the existing construction layout since our last update.

To the side of the nearly-complete blue structures, a new section of metal supports has appeared above the rolling planters. This section is closer to the exit queue for Toy Story Mania! leading to the main guest walkway.

The new structure is extremely close to the existing green tarps, which still block guests from sitting underneath most of the still-incomplete roof formations. Like the others, this structure is only plain green metal in a square shape so far, but we expect it will get the same blue panels as rest of the space.

While it had appeared in our last update that most of the Woody’s Lunch Box construction was close to conclusion, the addition of a new structure implies it may be a while longer before guests can finally take advantage of the available seating.

No major progress have been made on the other structures, though the one closest to the right side has now gotten basic light bulbs installed in the building toy-style holes.

The process of adding more shaded seating to Toy Story Land first began in 2022, when the land around the Toy Story Mania! queue was cleared and tarps were installed. The original seating area was closed and then demolished in September 2024. Since then, only one small section of the total area has reopened to guests.
