Universal Orlando has unveiled a new second generation interactive wand design for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, this time inspired by the Phoenix Arch of Place Cachée in Epic Universe.

New Phoenix Arch-Inspired Second Generation Interactive Wand

First shared on Instagram, this new wand is a pale cream color with tiny carved accents mimicking that of the Phoenix Arch, which marks the entrance into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic beyond the portal. Just above the handle is a gold-colored, carved relief of a phoenix. Pricing was not shared, but it will likely be $85, the same as all other second-gen designs.

According to the post, made in collaboration with the official Harry Potter account, the wand will be available exclusively at Epic Universe on the park’s grand opening day, Thursday, May 22. Universal recently released new second-generation models of character wands, including Harry Potter, Hermione, and Dumbledore.

The second-generation interactive wands debuted at Universal Orlando earlier this year with upgraded effects and five new spell locations at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure; the wands are also compatible with spell locations in Epic Universe.
