A complimentary Stardust Racers button is now available to Universal Orlando Annual Passholders.
UOAP Stardust Racers Button
Inspired by the Epic Universe roller-coaster, the circular button features two stylized comets flying through blue space. It comes on a blue and gold UOAP-branded card featuring celestial designs.
The back of the card reads:
Race Across the Cosmos
Remember when we used to duel?
On Blizzrock and Pyrock
Those days were so coolBlinding speed, twists and turns
The dust has settled
Dueling has returned
The poem references Universal Orlando Resort’s original dual-track coaster, Dueling Dragons. The coaster was part of The Lost Continent in Universal Islands of Adventure and featured intertwining blue and red tracks. The blue dragon was Blizzrock, and the red dragon was Pyrock. When part of The Lost Continent was turned into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Dueling Dragons was renamed Dragon Challenge. It closed in 2017 to be replaced by Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
Universal also paid homage to Dueling Dragons with the Halloween Horror Nights 32 house Dueling Dragons: Choose Thy Fate in 2023.
Stardust Racers, originally announced as Starfall Racers, has two 5,000-foot tracks known as Pulsar and Photon. It’s 133 feet tall at the Celestial Spin and reaches a top speed of 62 mph. The ride is meant to resemble comets shooting through the night sky.
The Stardust Racers button is available for the start of Passholder Bonus Benefits, which are from May 1 to May 22. The button will be available through May 31. It’s the first in a series of five celebrating Epic Universe. The other four pins will presumably be inspired by the park’s four other worlds: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and Super Nintendo World.
The button is available from the UOAP Lounge in Universal Islands of Adventure between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and The Tonight Shop in Universal Studios Florida from park open to close.
