Ahead of the debut of the “Get Animated!” DJ dance party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, rolling planters have been moved out of Animation Courtyard, revealing new murals in the former meet and greet bays.

Each of the former meet-and-greet bays now sports bright, colorful artwork inspired by the art of animation. This first area includes art of an animation desk and the silhouette of the Carthay Circle Theatre, where “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” first premiered.

Pages from the animation desk spill out over the mural, which also includes silhouettes of palm trees.

The ground in this area is also painted with color-blocked areas of purple, light blue, dark blue, yellow, and pink.

The second bay is a bright collage of animation pages, with the ground painted in shades of blue, purple, and green. The ground is made to look like several animation pages layered on top of one another. In addition, several metal poles in this area have been rethemed to look like giant blue pencils.

The next meet and greet bay has a gridded look, with folded paper graphics and pencils at work. The ground is painted with shades of dark blue, yellow, purple, and light blue.

Scribbles in shades of blue, green, and pink appear on top of the pages.

The fourth bay takes on a more abstract look, with several circles, lines, and arrows on a blue gridded background. The ground is covered in swirling sections of blue and purple shades.

The final mural is designed to look as though it’s in progress, with a large paintbrush painting over a side view of The Hollywood Tower Hotel, and a pencil adding in the outline of a star.

Other exit doors have also gotten theming, with the one pictured on the left exiting out to a blue blob painted on the ground. Both doors have Mickey icon murals in blue and purple on the adjoining walls.

The mural on the exit doors was revealed earlier this week, with a design that is inspired by an art supply cabinet. “Get Animated!” banners and other mural artwork were also added in Animation Courtyard this week.

“Get Animated!” will temporarily replace “Disney Jr. Play and Dance!” as part of Cool Kid Summer at Walt Disney World, and will debut on May 27. The meet and greets with Disney Junior characters that are usually located in this area have been moved to Echo Lake.
