All four Walt Disney World theme parks now have special “Cool Kid Summer” guides listing some of the limited-time summer activities and other kid-friendly offerings.
The guides all have blue covers with red-orange borders. They feature graphics representing the park and its Cool Kid Summer offerings, plus pictures of guests.
Cool Kid Summer Magic Kingdom Guide

In the first fold of each guide is basic information. For Magic Kingdom, it lists day entertainment: Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, and Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire. There’s a “Staying Up Late?” section, which mentions the “Happily Ever After” fireworks spectacular.
The “Tips for Adults” section lists information about rider switch, the baby care center, strollers and lockers, and where guests can purchase baby care products. Listed on the opposite page are character greeting locations and the interactive experiences Smellephants on Parade and A Pirate’s Adventure – Treasures of the Seven Seas.
The map is a minimalist version of the regular Magic Kingdom map with vibrant colors. It only lists attractions and experiences appropriate for young children. Bigger rides like Space Mountain and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure are left off. There are also “Cool Kid Summer” labels on the two limited-time offerings — the Big Top Bash and Galactic Blast dance parties.
On the back of each guide is a scavenger hunt for that park. Kids at Magic Kingdom are encouraged to find a pirate’s treasure map, ride a boat, visit a treehouse, see a parade, and more.
Cool Kid Summer EPCOT Guide

The EPCOT guide’s informational pages include the “Tips for Adults” section. There’s a QR code leading to Disney DuckTales World Showcase Adventure. On the opposite page is a list of character meet-and-greets. The “Staying Up Late?” section advertises “Luminous: The Symphony of Us.”
In addition to kid-friendly attractions and experiences, the EPCOT map also highlights play areas and Kidcot Fun Stops. The limited-time Cool Kid Summer offering is GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall.
The EPCOT scavenger hunt invites kids to play a game in GoofyCore, go to space, talk with a turtle, play with water, and more.
Cool Kid Summer Disney’s Hollywood Studios Guide

The Disney’s Hollywood Studios guide includes “Tips for Adults” information and a list of character experiences. For “Staying Up Late?” guests are invited to see “Wonderful World of Animation” and “Fantasmic!”
The map includes attractions, shows, and meet-and-greets. It highlights the new “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” and “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” shows, plus “Get Animated!” in Animation Courtyard.
The scavenger hunt invites guests to take a picture of a dinosaur, sing with Elsa, hop aboard a train, and more.
Cool Kid Summer Disney’s Animal Kingdom Guide

The Disney’s Animal Kingdom guide includes the same “Tips for Adults” and character greetings list. Instead of a “Staying Up Late?” section, the guide highlights the Dino Eggs-cavation treat at Dino-Bite Snacks. There’s also a “Limited-Time Summer Fun” section advertising the Cool Kid Summer offerings: a special Wilderness Explorers Nature Badge, a pollinator craft at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, and a celebration sing-along at Discovery Island.
The Disney’s Animal Kingdom map includes animal silhouettes with each land, encouraging guests to look for the animals during their day at the park.
Instead of a scavenger hunt on the back, there are pictures of animals.
The guides are similar to the kid guides released for recent EPCOT festivals.
