Pluto has moved to a new meet and greet location in Disney’s Animal Kingdom as work continues on the future Tropical Americas land replacing DinoLand U.S.A.
Pluto Moves to New Meet and Greet Location
Pluto was previously greeting guests in DinoLand U.S.A. near Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. For this encounter, Mickey’s best friend wore a purple-patterned scarf for a collar, held together by a bone-shaped nametag.
Since that area has been closed off for some time now, Pluto has been moved to The Oasis near the park’s entrance. You can see his exact location marked in the My Disney Experience app.

When we first got to the park to check out Pluto’s new spot, we were met with quite a long line.

Pluto stands up against a backdrop of rockwork in the Oasis, ready to meet and get pets from guests.

Pluto has meet and greet sets throughout the day at this location, appearing every 20 minutes with one break around 1 p.m. See his full list of set times below:

Pluto now wears a new bandana patterned with flowers and fruit, with his usual dog tag attached at the center.

We also got his signature for good measure.
DinoLand U.S.A. is currently being transformed into the Tropical Americas expansion in phases. The area will feature new attractions themed to “Encanto” and “Indiana Jones,” with the latter being a retheming of DINOSAUR. The land is scheduled to open in 2027.
