As a new addition to the Magic Kingdom character roster, Romeo McGrowl of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree is now meeting guests in Frontierland.
Romeo McGrowl

As we previously reported earlier this week, Disney posted a video of Romeo McGrowl as a roaming meet and greet character in Magic Kingdom Park. Romeo can now be seen wandering the streets of Frontierland, though he usually stays close to the entrance of Grizzly Hall.

Romeo McGrowl is a new character added to the Country Bear Jamboree following its reimagining into the Country Bear Musical Jamboree. Romeo was once called Liver Lips McGrowl, but Disney stopped using his name because it is a racial slur. McGrowl’s first name was officially changed to Romeo last year when the new show debuted.
To match his updated appearance in the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, Romeo is wearing a new blue jacket with a rose flower design. Romeo also has a lime green scarf around his neck and a rose stuck into the side of his Elvis-style pompadour.

Romeo is one of the last Country Bears to appear as an updated walk-around character in Magic Kingdom. Updated versions of Big Al, Wendell, and Terrence all arrived last year as similar walk-around characters.
Not all of the meet and greet times for the Country Bears are listed on the My Disney Experience app since they are freely-roaming characters, but you can often check with a nearby Cast Member to get an idea if Romeo is about to make an appearance.
