Country Bears Meet and Greet in NEW Musical Jamboree Costumes

With the official opening of Country Bear Musical Jamboree, the Country Bears that meet and greet guests at the Magic Kingdom now welcome guests in new costumes that match their attire in the show.

Each meet and greet costume has been updated to match the new costumes worn by the characters inside Grizzly Hall. For comparison, see each character with a new costume in the show.

Big Al

A person in a gray bear costume with a red vest and white hat stands on a paved area in front of a rustic wooden building with lanterns hanging from the roof, inviting guests for a Country Bears Meet and Greet.

Big Al now wears a pale tan hat and a red vest with gold embroidery. Big Al’s new outfit is probably the most similar to his old look, which also included a lightly-colored hat and a plain red-orange vest. Below is a photo of Big Al from a few years ago for comparison.

Wendell

A person in a bear costume poses in front of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree building, where several people stand in the background—some watching and some walking—as part of a delightful meet and greet.

Wendell now wears a brown cowboy hat, purple bandana, and leather vest. As pictured below, he previously wore a lighter brown hat and a blue bandana.

Terrence, a.k.a. Shaker

A person in a bear costume, dressed in a teal vest and bow tie, stands on a sunny red pavement area near an attraction called the "Country Bear Musical Jamboree," paying homage to the delightful world of country bears.

Terrence a.k.a. Shaker has joined Big Al and Wendell in greeting guests in front of the newly reimagined attraction. He dons his green-patterned black vest and bowtie. He also wears a white collar. He is not wearing the hat that he wears inside the theater.

An animatronic bear character, part of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, dressed in a colorful outfit, plays a golden guitar on stage with a blue curtain backdrop and illuminated by a spotlight.

Though he wasn’t greeting fans on opening day, Romeo McGrowl is expected to appear soon. We expect him to wear his blue and red outfit and a rose in his hair.

With the opening of the attraction, guests can now look inside the refurbished Grizzly Hall, check out the new attraction poster near the Magic Kingdom entrance, purchase a new T-shirt, and listen to most of the soundtrack on music streaming services.
