The Savannah Bananas took to Main Street, U.S.A., for a special cavalcade in their honor on May 28, 2025.

Earlier that day, they and their competitors — the Firefighters — danced in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The Savannah Bananas are one of five teams in the Banana Ball Championship League. Banana Ball is a variation of baseball that focuses on exhibition and entertainment. The games are limited to two hours long, and the players participate in dance routines, comedy sketches, and other gags during the game.

The mascot, a large banana named Split, got to ride on the jitney.

The Savannah Bananas also use their games and notoriety to support their nonprofit, Bananas Foster, which is dedicated to celebrating and supporting foster families, providing resources to those looking to become foster families, and more.

A parade group in red and yellow outfits joins a lively cavalcade, passing crowds and yellow balloon decorations in the park.

The Firefighters were also in the cavalcade. The teams will face off on May 30 & 31 at Angel Stadium.
