The restrooms closest to the park entrance at Universal Islands of Adventure are now closed for refurbishment, and the entire building is now blocked by themed construction walls.
Islands of Adventure Restroom Refurbishment

Construction walls have been erected around the entire restroom building in Port of Entry at Universal Islands of Adventure, as the bathrooms in this section are now closed for refurbishment.

The brown construction walls wrap all the way around the front and sides of the waterworks-themed building. The walls extend to the tan and blue building facades on the left side.

The construction walls are all painted to look like they are made of individual wood planks attached together. The edge of each wall panel is lined with another plank of wood in a darker shade of brown.

Signs attached to the walls say “We apologize for the inconvenience” and encourage guests to scan a QR code to find the next nearest restrooms. When scanned, the code takes guests to a page on the Universal Orlando Resort mobile app.

The walls have also been lined with several themed posters matching the ambience of Port of Entry. The posters are all styled like slightly retro travel advertisements. A blue poster says “Journey to Port of Entry” with an image of a large cruise ship. A second poster says “Island’s Air” in a fake advertisement for an airline.

A bright yellow poster has an advertisement for “Pharos Lighthouse” as seen on the main sign for Islands of Adventure. The last poster is green and says “Voyage to Port of Entry” with images of small sailing boats in the middle of the ocean.

To keep guests from getting close to the restrooms, the brown construction walls wrap all the way around the side of the facade and block the covered portico.

With the Port of Entry restrooms now closed, the next nearest bathrooms are located by the entrance to the Incredible Hulk Coaster and in Seuss Landing. Universal has not yet made an announcement about when these restrooms are expected to reopen.
In other construction news at Universal Islands of Adventure, a new “Jurassic Park” Raptor Bites snack kiosk is being constructed behind some more walls. The Islands of Adventure Trading Company also recently added some new props with a nod to Poseidon’s Fury.
