Gideon’s Bakehouse is marking Halfway to Halloween with two new collectible menus and various limited-time treats, plus the return of the Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie of the Month.
May Menu

The May menu resembles a retro movie poster titled “Halfway to Halloween.” Barnabas Mephistophelittle is pictured in his red devil hood.

A second collectible menu will be available mid-month, as Gideon’s Bakehouse announced on Instagram. These Halfway to Halloween treats will be available throughout May:
- May 3rd & 4th: Peanut Coated Dunking Sticks
- May 10th & 11th: Chocolate Pumpkin Shadow Cakes
- May 17th & 18th: Frankenstein & Bride of Frankenstein Mixed Bite Bags
- May 22nd: Gideon’s Goth Day Cake
- May 24th & 25th: Frankenstein Chocolate Dipped Cookie Cake Slices
- May 29th to 31st!: “SUPER TOP SECRET MEGA ITEMS”
A new cold brew is available exclusively at the Disney Springs location. The Almond Cookie Cold Brew “mixes the right balance of Brown Sugar, Sweet Almonds, and Vanilla to create a flavorful experience!”
Halfway to Halloween merchandise is also available, and Gideon’s is currently doubling the number of Series 3 Trading Cards placed in cookie boxes. Online customers will also get double the usual trading cards in online merchandise orders.
Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie – $6

This cookie is returning from 2023. It’s filled and topped with freshly ground decaf beans from Lineage Coffee Roasting. There are chunks of toffee and chocolate in the vanilla bean cookie. The cookie is finished with a sprinkling of sea salt.

Like all Gideon’s cookies, this is heavy — almost a 1/2 pound, in fact. It’s coffee-forward with a persistent aftertaste. The toffee flavor is subtle. This will please coffee lovers and chocoholics, but we’d place it in the middle of the pack for Gideon’s cookies overall.
