REVIEW: Lyseed Popped Grains with Dill Pickle Seasoning at Kat Saka’s Kettle at Disneyland

Jamie Rowland

Kat Saka’s Kettle in Galaxy’s Edge is one of many locations around Disneyland with new menu items for the summer. We raced over to Batuu to try the new Lyseed Popped Grains, which feature a dill pickle seasoning.

Lyseed Popped Grains – $7.59

Popcorn with Dill Pickle Seasoning

A hand holds a paper bag filled with popcorn outdoors, with a trash can and people in the background.

This may be one of the worst new items at Disneyland. The popcorn is almost soggy and has the consistency of foam. It is not nearly as crispy and tasty as the typical popcorn from Kat Saka’s.

The seasoning also doesn’t really taste like a pickle. Instead, it has the flavor of something you’ve left in the fridge for a couple of weeks, and it only gets more pungent and disgusting as you chew it more.
