REVIEW: Willie Does it Again with Seasonal Chocolate Pecan Churro

Jamie Rowland

Known for having delicious treats, Willie’s Churros at Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure has a new seasonal churro, and spoiler alert, Willie did it again.

Chocolate Pecan Churro – $7.50

Classic Churro topped with Maple Glaze, Toasted Pecans and Chocolate Drizzle

A hand holds churros topped with chocolate sauce and chopped nuts in a white tray outdoors.

This is possibly one of the best churros we have ever had. The chocolate and the nuttiness on the front end and the maple flavor on the back end works combines for an absolutely wonderful treat. The churro was cooked perfectly, and the toppings worked really well together for a solid, straight-forward churro. A must try!

Rating out of 7: 7

Unfortunately, out of the seasonal churros, this was the only one worth getting again. The Gator Tail Churro at the Churros & Lemonade cart in Bayou Country was also a letdown, the Tiramisu Churro at the Hollywood Land Churro Cart was like eating dirt, and the Banana Cone-Nanza Churro in Cars Land was just okay.

Other new Disneyland Resort menu items that debuted on April 30 include beveragesbreakfast food, salads, cold brewssavory dishes, and shaved ice snacks
