Reviews

Strawberry Pancakes – $17

Strawberry Sauce, Streusel and Cream Cheese Icing, served with choice of Bacon or Sausage

Although the strawberry sauce doesn’t look great, it was delicious. Even with the cream cheese icing, these were not overly sweet, and the streusel adds something different to the texture and flavor profile. The bacon was thick and crunchy with lots of flavor.

Blueberry Pancakes – $17

Blueberry Compote, Streusel and Vanilla Chantilly Cream, served with Choice of Bacon or Sausage

The blueberry pancakes were also very good, although they would have to be our least favorite concoction here. Real blueberries composed the compote, and the Chantilly cream is a little citrusy, cutting the sweetness of the dish. The crunch of the streusel, again, adds something unique to the dish, and the bacon was just as good.

Apple Pancake Rolls – $17

Apple Pie Topping, Walnut Streusel and Cinnamon Chantilly Cream, served with Choice of Bacon or Sausage

The Apple Pancake Rolls are inspired by the Apple Pancake Roll-ups once served when River Belle Terrace was the Aunt Jemima Pancake House in the 1950s and ’60s at Disneyland.

These were phenomenal. The pancake was fluffy and thick enough to hold in all the apple pie filling. The Autumnal flavors and Chantilly cream worked really well together to create an almost perfect dish. We got the sausage with this dish, and it was slightly bland. The bacon would have been the better choice.

Rating out of 7: 7

Overall, all of these pancake dishes were delicious, and we do not think you could go wrong with any of them. We do suggest grabbing the bacon with any choice over the sausage.
