Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Universal Islands of Adventure will reportedly get Universal Express Pass access any day now.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure Express Pass
Earlier this year, WDWNT reported on the possibility of the “Harry Potter” attraction adding Universal Express Pass. The attraction has been primed for an Express Pass line since July 2024, but it has yet to open.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade has previously offered a single rider line off and on. It has not been available for months, however, leaving the standby line as the only way to ride the attraction. Single rider is still listed for Hagrid’s on the Universal Orlando Resort app, but it says, “The single rider option is subject to availability and may open or close at any time.” At the time of writing, single rider is available.
If rumors are correct, the single rider line will become the Universal Express Pass line this week. Sources indicate Hagrid’s was supposed to open Universal Express Pass access on Tuesday, but the option was delayed by a few days.
Universal Express Pass is an add-on to a standard park ticket that allows guests to skip the standard line and experience attractions with a shorter wait time. Most major attractions offer express pass, including Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Jurassic World VelociCoaster, the latter of which opened after Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, which opened in 2019.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure replaced Dragon Challenge, which was a “Harry Potter” reimagining of the park’s original Dueling Dragons. The current coaster reaches a height of 65 feet and a top speed of 50 miles per hour. Its height restriction is 48 inches. Child swap is available.
