Walt Disney World launched a webpage for The Beak and Barrel, a new Pirates of the Caribbean tavern opening at Magic Kingdom this year, confirming several details about the spot.

The Beak and Barrel

A cozy, warmly lit pub reminiscent of Disney Parks magic, with patrons enjoying drinks at tables. Chandeliers and lamps illuminate the scene like a fairytale setting, while paintings adorn the walls. A waiter stands near the center, tending to guests in this enchanting ambience of 2025.

The Beak and Barrel is scheduled to open in late 2025, taking over the former Pirates League space in Adventureland. The Beak and Barrel webpage states, “Advance reservations are strongly recommended,” and that guests should check back later for details about making reservations. Disney hasn’t announced an exact opening date for the lounge.

Similar to the popular Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the experience will be limited to 45 minutes per party to ensure as many guests as possible can enjoy the lounge.

Disney also hasn’t released a menu, but the webpage confirms there will be quick bites and alcoholic cocktails for guests ages 21 and up. There is a maximum of two (2) drinks per guest, a standard for Disney.

The Beak and Barrel is “an enclosed space with low lighting levels and high activity.” There will be “sing-alongs, storytelling, and enchanting surprises.”
