Before its official opening, The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant in Epic Universe already has a leak.

The restaurant soft-opened yesterday, May 11, so we decided to check out the menu and interior. Upon doing so, one of our reporters caught the leak in action. You can check the video out below:

It appears that the leak is contained to one area of the ceiling, and Team Members have added a black dish container to collect the water.
Although the restaurant has soft-opened to guests, reservations are not currently available. Reservations did open briefly in April for dates after May 23, 2025 but were then paused shortly after.
The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant is in Celestial Park, next to Universal Helios Grand Hotel. The description reads:
Take a culinary journey across Asia at The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant in Universal Epic Universe. Step inside a bustling courtyard, where it’s always evening under the glow of ethereal lanterns. Enjoy authentic Pan-Asian cuisine as dazzling neon dragons chase across the walls or curl up with a cocktail at The Tiger Bar.
Guests will have the chance to enjoy flavors from China, Southeast Asia, and Japan while dining under constellations at this location. Blue Dragon will also host the Tiger Bar.

A look at Epic Universe food gave us a sneak peak of The Blue Dragon’s offerings. One of the restaurant’s signature dishes is the Tonkotsu Ramen featuring delicate ramen noodles in a rich pork broth, topped with tender chashu pork, tare egg, shiitake mushrooms, and fragrant togarashi oil.
The Blue Dragon will also serve Double Fried Korean Wings and Beef Xi’an Noodles. Dessert includes the Passion Fruit Mooncake, a small hand pie filled with passion fruit cheesecake with a signature dragon stamped on top.
Epic Universe is currently in a preview period before an official opening on May 22, 2025. Stay tuned for full reviews of The Blue Dragon and all other Epic Universe dining locations.
We have already tried and reviewed several dining locations in the park including both menu items from Star Sui Bao, also in Celestial Park.
