A green version of the Zombie tiki mug is available now at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, located in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World.
5th Edition Zombie Tiki Mug – $32
The new 5th edition has a pea-green colorway. It comes with the Zombie cocktail, which is Gosling’s 151 Black Seal Rum, Appleton Estate Reserve Rum, Bacardi 8-year Rum, Tropical Juices, Falernum, and Cinnamon.
Over on the west coast, at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar in Disneyland Resort, the 5th edition was dark teal. The two bars share a lot of similarities, but the tiki mugs are often different.
Recent versions of the Zombie tiki mug have included the blue 4th edition and the red & white 3rd edition.
Several years ago, the mug and its drink were known as the Shrunken Zombie Head. The name was changed to just Zombie for cultural sensitivity purposes. This occurred around the same time as the overhaul of Jungle Cruise that removed the shrunken heads from the finale scene with Trader Sam.
