The Los Angeles – San Diego – San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) Rail Corridor Agency debuted the new artwork when the car was placed into service on Wednesday, according to KTLA5.
LOSSAN Agency Chair and City of Fullerton Mayor Fred Jung said the following about the wrap:
“We are thrilled to be part of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration.”
“Taking the Pacific Surfliner to one of the world’s most iconic and beloved destinations makes magical memories start the moment your journey begins.”

The limited-time design features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy in their 70th anniversary attire. Silhouettes of Sleeping Beauty Castle and Pixar Pal-A-Round are also showcased on the blue background with streamers and confetti. The middle of the train’s new wrap, which features the official logo for the Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary, was also revealed during the event. It features a purple “70” with pink castle towers and a streak of stars. “The Happiest Place on Earth” is written just below in black lettering.
According to KTLA5, “the Pacific Surfliner travels along a 351-mile coastal rail route through San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.”
