FIRST LOOK at New Test Track Trash Cans in EPCOT

Disney has added new trash cans featuring the Test Track logo outside the reimagined EPCOT attraction, which reopens next month.

A sunny day at Epcot's Test Track entrance, showing greenery, a curved building, and partly cloudy skies.

There are two trash cans and a recycling can positioned on either side of the new Test Track sign in front of the ride’s entrance. Construction walls came down from around the attraction earlier this month, but the area is still blocked by rolling planters.

The trash cans are blue and silver with the new Test Track chevron logo around the sides. Test Track is in the World Discovery neighborhood, which mostly has red trash cans, while World Celebration cans are blue.

The area is almost ready for opening. There are new white lampposts and fresh shrubbery in the flower beds. Height requirement posts are under the new overhang.

There are stanchions and chains creating a queue under the overhang and across the walkway to the right. Test Track has a significant indoor queue, but Disney is probably expecting the ride to be extra busy when it reopens on July 22.

Before the reopening, there will be previews for Cast Members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak residents, and Club 33 Members. Dates were already announced for Cast Member previews.
