About Viking Traders
Viking Traders is one of the shops in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, offering merchandise inspired by the land and films. Here’s the official description:
Nestled beneath a neighborhood of dragon houses perched high on the mountain above, the Viking Traders shop offers all the necessary supplies new Vikings might need for their adventures on Berk. You’ll find Viking toys, helmets and shields, plush dragon toys and other fun essentials.
Some of the merchandise from Viking Traders is also available at other How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk stores like Hiccup’s Work Shop.
Location
Viking Traders is located in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, next to the lagoon across from Mead Hall.
Apparel & Accessories


The apparel and accessories include regular shirts and hats, as well as costume pieces like dragon riders’ helmets.
Pullover Hoodie – $74


This pullover hoodie is yellow with teal drawstrings and orange lining in the hood. Pictured on the front are the viking and dragon statues that greet guests entering Berk. “Berk” is in Nordic-style lettering above the statues. A red patch on the right sleeve features a black dragon logo.
Viking Ball Cap – $29


This ball cap has a smoky black and gray pattern. A lighter gray image on the front is the silhouette of a bearded viking wearing a horned helmet. “Berk” is on the back. The adjustable strap has the dragon logo etched on its hardware.
Sheep Ball Cap – $29



This ball cap is distressed black denim. A patch on the front depicts one of Berk’s sheep dressed as a dragon. “Be yourself, embrace your weirdness!” is embroidered on the side.

A yellow ball cap features embroidered lineart of Toothless. His tail prosthetic with a skull image is even included on the side of the hat. It has a brown adjustable strap.

Astrid’s helmet, inspired by Stormfly, is shades of blue and beige with gold detailing. There are white spikes sticking out of the top.
Sheep Loungefly Mini Backpack – $95
Inspired by the sheep of berk, this Loungefly mini backpack has a white fuzzy exterior and a sheep’s head attached to the front. It has floppy pleather ears and brown pleather detailing representing its dragon armor. A Universal Studios | Loungefly label plate is on the front. A front zip pocket is hidden below the sheep’s head.


Wings flip out from the back of the bag. It has side slip pockets and padded straps. “Be yourself, embrace your weirdness!” is printed on the back.
Sheep Headband – $22


A trio of sheep, two white and one black, are atop this headband. The sheep are small fuzzy plush with embroidered details. The padded headband is black velour.
Sheep Youth T-Shirt – $30
This youth tee features a sheep in an orange dragon costume on the chest with the phrase, “Ewe crazy!” “Ewe” is the term for a female sheep.
Viking Hat – $32


This is a snug pleather hat inspired by a viking’s helmet. Curved white horns stick out of the sides, with brown fur trim at their bases. There is rivet detailing across the cap.
Viking Hat with Braids – $32


Another viking hat is brown with thick fur trim around the brim. The horns are gray instead of white. It has a pair of blonde braids hanging down from inside the cap.
Toothless Tank Top – $35


This tank top is white with a minimalist Toothless image on the front. “Fly like a legend” is printed below him. A red dragon patch is by the hem.
Toothless Long-Sleeved Shirt – $42
The same image of Toothless is on the side of the chest on this white shirt. “Do you know any dragons?” is below him.


Three dragons — Stormfly, Meatlug, and Barf and Belch — are pictured down the right sleeve.
Tie-Dye T-Shirt – $42


This tee has a black and white tie-dye design. Lineart of Meatlug, Fishlegs’ Gronckle, is across the chest. The art wraps around the side and onto the back. It has a solid black ribbed neck.
Shorts – $42
These shorts are yellow with a white drawstring at the waist. There are two side pockets.


The all-over pattern is made of minimalist artwork of the various dragons, including Toothless. The dragon logo patch is on the hem.
Bucket Hat – $32


This bucket hat is black and gray tie-dye, with a silver screen-printed image of a female Viking on the front. To her left is an embroidered silhouette of Toothless. The hat is one size fits all.
Dragon Houses Loungefly Mini Backpack – $95
This Loungefly backpack is inspired by the dragon houses throughout Berk. The front is made of a slightly triangular appliqué. It’s printed with a wood pattern and painted elements, plus a dragon carving on the top. Red portholes show artwork of dragons inside the houses.
The images are holographic so the dragons appear to move. Barf and Belch are on the top, above a small front pocket.
Meatlug is in the bottom house. An orange Universal Studios | Loungefly label plate is next to her.
The zippers and other hardware are bronze-tone. The dragon logo is stamped on the front pocket’s circular zipper pull.


A plush green dragon tail sticks out of one side of the backpack. Hookfang the Monstrous Nightmare is pictured peering out of a window on the other side of the bag.
The back has a basic wood-style pattern. It has orange adjustable straps with blue padded sections. A red-orange handle is at the top.
Stormfly is pictured in a printed window.


The bottom of the bag is gray. The top and sides around the main compartment’s zipper has a chevron pattern of yellow, white, red, and blue.
Belt Bag – $34
This belt bag is brown with an olive green zippered lid. On the front panel is 2D stylized art of Meatlug, Toothless, and Stormfly.


The strap is black and adjustable. A small red “How to Train Your Dragon” icon bug tag is sewn to the left side.


The interior of the bag is lined with green fabric patterned with the same artwork of the dragons.
Sheep Patches – $14
Celebrate the sheep of Berk with these peel and stick / sew on patches. The set includes two fuzzy patches depicting a black and a white sheep.
Dragon Patches – $14
Another patch set includes three circular white patches with black borders. Each patch features a different dragon: Toothless, Barf and Belch, Meatlug, and Stormfly.
Reusable Shopping Totes
Each Epic Universe world has its own reusable shopping bags. There are three sizes, with the same prices across all the worlds.
Mini Tote – $5
The smallest How to Train Your Dragon tote depicts Toothless flying above the land. “How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk” is printed at the bottom of the image. All three bags have red handles and trim.
Medium Tote – $7
The medium-sized tote depicts Hiccup standing on Toothless as they fly above the Viking and dragon statues. Astrid, standing on Stormfly, is in the background.
Jumbo Tote – $9
The largest tote showcases the franchise’s main characters, with Hiccup front and center and their dragons flying in the background.
Toys
Toys include replicas of the swords and shields used by “How to Train Your Dragon” characters. These are all made of firm foam and are not sharp.
Hiccup’s Sword and Shield – $53
This set includes one of Hiccup’s swords and shields. The shield lights up and makes sounds. They both have a metallic silver finish.


The handle of the sword resembles a dragon, with a black grip and red detailing. The black dragon logo, inspired by Toothless, is on the shield with a red element representing his tail prosthetic.
Instructions are on the back for turning on the effects of the shield.
Hiccup’s Inferno Sword – $32
This toy is inspired by Hiccup’s other sword, Inferno. It has a brown grip with red straps and silver dragon detailing. The blade is covered in orange flames. When turned on, the sword will make clanging sounds when swung around.
Hiccup Shield – $32
This toy is another one of Hiccup’s shields. This one has a reddish-brown finish with a wood-inspired texture. The center and border are metallic silver with rivet details. It features a white zig-zagging pattern.
All the shields have a pair of adjustable arm straps on the back.
Hiccup Shield – $32
Yet another Hiccup shield is white with a red, blue, and yellow dragon painted across it.
Astrid Shield – $32
Astrid’s shield is teal blue, matching the main color of Stormfly. It has two half-circle red, white, and blue designs.
Ruffnut & Tuffnut Shield – $32
This one is inspired by Ruffnut and Tuffnut’s shield. It’s black with an orange flame design and a pair of white skulls.
Fishlegs Sword – $24
Fishlegs’ sword has a short, wide blade. It has scuffs and scratches. The guard is painted gold.


The handle has a rounded end and a brown grip.
Fyre Drill Boat Model Kit – $48
Build your own model version of the Fyre Drill boats with this kit. The final model resembles a Viking ship with a golden dragon’s head on the bow and tail on the stern.
A trio of painted Viking shields hang on the side of the model boat. There are tiny wooden water guns on the deck.


The kit is a scale replica of the boats. The pieces snap together, so no glue is required. It has 43 pieces. It includes instructions, 4 painted sheets of laser-cut wood, a blue acrylic base, and color decals. It’s recommended for ages 14+.
Hiccup Plush – $21


This chibi-style plush depicts Hiccup with fluffy brown hair, green and brown armor, and his metallic leg prosthetic.
Astrid Plush – $21


Astrid has a long blonde braid, green and red tops, and a brown skirt.
Target Sheep Plush – $27



This fluffy white sheep has a target painted on both of its sides.
Armored Sheep Plush – $32




A similarly-shaped sheep plush is covered in pleather brown armor with a fake dragon tail, red wings, and sharp (felt) teeth.
Cloudjumper (Stormcutter) Plush – $37


Cloudjumper is the dragon of Valka, Hiccup’s mother. He’s mostly gray with orange around his head. The spikes down his back are orange and blue before transitioning to brown down his tail.
Green Gronckle Plush – $27


One of the baby Gronckles is green with a pair of tiny felt wings. Gronckles are meaty dragons with big mouths and underbites.
Pink Gronckle Plush – $27


Another baby is bright pink. It has its eyes closed.
Meatlug (Gronckle) Plush – $27


Meatlug is a fully grown dragon. She’s mottled brown with purple and orange spots. She has larger plush wings than the babies.
Stormfly (Deadly Nadder) Plush – $27


Stormfly, Astrid’s Deadly Nadder, has blue scales and a gray underside. Tall felt spikes run down her back.
Barf and Belch (Hideous Zippleback) Plush – $32


Though named individually, Barf and Belch are an individual dragon with two heads and two tails. They are green with a red pattern and burgundy spikes. Large yellow horns are on their noses.
Hookfang (Monstrous Nightmare) Plush – $37
Hookfang is Snotlout’s dragon. He has red scales and a pale yellow underside. A pair of crooked black horns stick out of his head. He has long black talons.
Astrid and Hiccup Micro Puzzle – $15
This micro puzzle features the land’s key art of Astrid, Hiccup, Toothless, and Stormfly, with all the pieces packaged together in a test tube-shaped container. The full set is comprised of 150 pieces and is recommended for ages 8 and up.
“This is Berk” Micro Puzzle – $15
Another micro puzzle is also available featuring the “This is Berk” key art. It is also comprised of 150 pieces and recommended for puzzle aficionados ages 8 and up.
Housewares
Sheep Statue – $32


This statue depicts a stack of five white sheep with a black sheep on top. They’re penned in with a small fence. Ruffnut and Tuffnut’s names are on metallic plaques above the base, which reads “Most Sheep.”
Sheep Salt and Pepper Shaker Set – $27
Speaking of sheep, this set includes two stoneware shakers sculpted like the Berk sheep. One is white and one is black — perfect for salt and pepper.
Sheep Ornaments – $27


Honestly, we aren’t sure if these are supposed to be ornaments, but they could certainly hang on a tree or maybe on a car’s rear view mirror. They’re round fluffy balls with plush sheep faces hanging from twine strings.
Viking Stein – $21



There are two versions of this stein and most of the other matching merch. This first one features a feminine viking with long hair and a horned helmet. The other version (below) has a masculine viking with a big bushy beard.



Both have Nordic trim and “Berk” opposite the viking image.
Viking Shield Wall Sign – $48


These wall signs resemble viking shields, but don’t have straps on the back. They’re circular pieces of wood, one featuring the feminine viking and the other featuring the bearded viking.


Both have slots on the back for hanging on the wall.
Viking Steins Magnet Set – $16
The steins are replicated as slightly three-dimensional magnets. Both designs come in this set.
Viking Shields Magnet Set – $16
There is also a set of shield-inspired magnets featuring the vikings as metallic elements against wood.
Can Cooler – $9
We only spotted one can cooler with the long-haired viking.
Viking Luggage Tag – $14
There are two viking luggage tags, each featuring one of the two vikings in white with gray rivet details against a darker gray pleather background. An adjustable strap is looped through the top of the tag.
Decorative lacing is around the edges.
A clear pouch on the back shows the paper where users can write their contact information. The paper has the medallion logo in the lower corner.
Mug – $19



This blue mug features the viking and dragon statues back to back. They are slightly 3D, as is “This is Berk” on the other side of the mug. The interior is orange. This and the following mugs are microwaveable and dishwasher safe.
Water Bottle – $29
This water bottle is all white, and features the same “This is Berk” key art seen on other merchandise. The phrase is printed in a black Viking-like font down the length of the bottle.



Art of Isle of Berk and its residents is printed around the circumference of the bottle.
The lid is all black and has a flip-top sipping lid. It is hand-wash only.
Sheep Mug – $16


This mug is white with the sad-looking sheep wearing a dragon costume on one side. “Be yourself, embrace your weirdness!” is on the other side.
Toothless Mug – $25



Toothless is on this tall mug, his tail wrapping around and becoming the handle on the side. “Fly like a legend” is on the other side.
Toothless Coasters – $32
This set includes two square-shaped coasters featuring images of Toothless. They come wrapped in twine.
Viking Figure – $27




This is a replica of the viking statue from the Berk entrance. The viking has a golden beard and blue horned helmet. A sword and shield are in his hands. The base resembles moss-covered stone.
Dragon Figure – $27




The matching dragon statue also has a figurine. Like the viking, it has gold and blue accents. The statues are straight out of the “How to Train Your Dragon” films, where they act as the gateway and lanterns in the Berk bay.
Journal – $24
Write like a legend with this Toothless journal. The dragon is pictured on the front with the stamped words “Fly like a legend.” The journal cover is blue pleather and red stitching is on the spine.


The pages inside are lined with no extra decorations.
Pillow – $37


The same Toothless art is on the front of this throw pillow, against a brown background. The other side is gray with lineart of various dragons.
Magnet Set – $21


There are four round magnets in this set. Like the patch set previously described, each depicts a different dragon: Toothless, Barf and Belch, Cloudjumper, and Stormfly.
How to Treat Your Dragon Magnet – $12
This magnet represents the sign for How to Treat Your Dragon, a nearby sweets shop.

Put your favorite photo from your visit to Berk in this square magnetic photo frame. It holds a 2.5-inch-by-2.3-inch photo. The frame is brown with orange Nordic and dragon designs.
Car Coaster Set – $12
Designed to fit in your car cupholders, these coasters feature images of the viking and dragon statues. “This is Berk” is printed on both.
Dragon Car Coaster Set – $12
Another two-pack of car coasters is also available, featuring Toothless and Stormfly. These coasters can be used to absorb condensation and keep your cup holders clean.

Send a “Wish you were here!” note the Viking way with these wood postcards. Packaged as a set of two, one of the postcards features an illustration of Berk and its residents with the “This is Berk” tagline.
The other postcard in this set features an illustration of Hiccup riding Toothless over the Isle of Berk, with surrounding artwork reminiscent of the stage curtain in “The Untrainable Dragon.”
