Magic Kingdom has extended operating hours starting on the premiere date of “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.”
Magic Kingdom Hours
Right now, Magic Kingdom is closing at 10 p.m. on most evenings. Beginning on Sunday, July 20, the park will stay open until 11 p.m., closing with the final performance of “Disney Starlight” each night. These operating hours are scheduled through at least Saturday, August 2. After that, the park is listed as closing at 10 p.m., but this could change.
Beginning with its July 20 debut, “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” will be performed twice each evening, at 9 p.m. and then 11 p.m.
Also beginning on July 20, Annual Passholders will have to make park reservations for Magic Kingdom, regardless of when they are visiting. Since January 2023, Passholders could enter Walt Disney World theme parks without a reservation after 2 p.m., with the exception of Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays.
Magic Kingdom will also be open until 11 p.m. on July 3 and July 4 for Independence Day celebrations.
“Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” will not be performed on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party event nights. It is the park’s first year-round nighttime parade since Main Street Electrical Parade ended in 2016. The Mary Blair-inspired lead float features the Blue Fairy, Peter Pan, Wendy, and Elsa. There are also “Moana,” “Encanto,” Disney Princess, “Coco,” and “Wish” floats. Mickey & Friends are on the finale float. The parade will follow the Magic Kingdom parade route backwards.
