A brand new Cast Member name tag has been revealed for the “The Most Magical Party of All” 20th anniversary celebration at Honk Kong Disneyland.
New Cast Member Name Tag
Beginning June 28, Cast Members will be wearing this new name tag for the “The Most Magical Party of All.” The vibrant colors and enchanting confetti symbolize the role of each cast member bringing the anniversary celebration to life as party hosts. Alongside their new name tags, they will also receive an exclusive SouvenEAR Mini Party Hat as a memento of the occasion.
Previous Hong Kong Cast Member Name Tags
Many different iterations of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Cast Member name tag have been worn over the last twenty years including one for opening day. In their announcement of the new name tag, Disney Parks Blog showcased several of the previous versions.
The first-ever name tag and fifth-year celebration tags are shown above. The first five years of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort were marked by a “Celebration in the Air.” This name tag featured pixie dust along the sides and as a number five around the castle, the perfect motif to represent the soaring-theme of the anniversary.
Cast members celebrated 10 years of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort with a golden name tag that not only featured the iconic pixie dust and a number 10, but Tinker Bell can also be seen next to the castle. For the resort’s 15-year anniversary, the new name tag featured park icons in place of the classic pixie dust, from the Green Alien Men seen at Toy Story Land to Sorcerer Mickey in Mickey’s PhilharMagic.
Hong Kong Disneyland opened on September 12, 2005, but the 20 year celebration is starting a few months early on June 28. The celebration will feature new entertainment, dining, shopping, and character offerings that will be available during “The Most Magical Party of All.” “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky,” the 20th anniversary version of their nighttime spectacular, will also premiere later this month.
