Walt Disney World has announced that a new Spaceship Earth Mickey Balloon popcorn bucket will be available at EPCOT starting today, Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
New Spaceship Earth Mickey Balloon Popcorn Bucket
The bucket was first announced on social media, on both the Disney Eats Instagram account and the Disney Parks account on X (formerly Twitter).
In the video Disney shared, we can get a glimpse of the new bucket. It features the standard Mickey balloon popcorn bucket shape, but with Spaceship Earth’s iconic geodesic pattern in an iridescent silver-purple color that appears to shift in the light. The opening for popcorn features the EPCOT wordmark in blue. The attached carry strap is a bit harder to make out, but at the very least, it is purple with blue and white accents.
The bucket includes popcorn at the time of purchase, and there is a purchase limit of two per person, per transaction. They can be found starting today at EPCOT popcorn carts while supplies last. Pricing was not shared in the post.
This new novelty item debuts on the opening day of GEO-82, the new adults-only Spaceship Earth lounge. We were able to attend a preview of the new venue last week, where we toured the entire space, reviewed exclusive new beverages and food, saw the new souvenir glasses that will be available for purchase, saw Spaceship Earth references in even the flight boards and ice cubes, and learned of the exclusive liquors and bourbons available.
