Orlando International Airport Pays Tribute to MuppetVision 3D with Statler and Waldorf Parody

Orlando International Airport (MCO) gave a salute to all shows, but mostly MuppetVision 3D, with a parody bringing Statler and Waldorf to life.

Statler and Waldorf: Unbolted

The video, dubbed “MCO*Vision 3D Statler and Waldorf: Unbolted,” is on the airport’s Instagram. It features two human actors portraying the Muppets, riffing on classic MuppetVision jokes and laughing at travelers in the airport.

In response to a cheerful flyer saying they’ve got a “glorious three-hour layover,” Waldorf yells, “You’ve got a minute and a half!” Standing outside the airport, Waldorf wipes his eyes, and Statler asks if he’s moved to tears. “No, you old fool,” says Waldorf, “it’s the curbside humidity!”

MCO also shared a tribute on X and Facebook featuring the Miss Piggy Lady Liberty fountain edited into the airport’s lobby.

June 7 was the last day for MuppetVision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Muppets Courtyard is now closed to guests. Cast Members will be the final guests to see the show.

Muppets Courtyard will become a new “Monsters, Inc.” land featuring a door coaster. The Muppets will move across the park to take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in 2026.
