PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 6/17/2025 (Pin Tuesday!, Tiny Village Drama Update, and More)

Howdy! Today was brutally hot, but that didn’t stop me from having fun and exploring. I started my day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, park-hopped to EPCOT, and finished my day at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

Happy Pin Tuesday from Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Collage of Disney Limited Pins and a group waiting outside Hollywood Studios’ Art Deco entrance on a sunny day.

When I arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios I was surprised to see a queue of guests waiting for 5&10 to open. These guests know that the limited edition Disney pins are located in 5&10. I got in line and realized only two pins were released this week. That means, in theory, the ever-popular dining pin will be released next Tuesday with all the Stitch, 626 Day, pins.

  • Charming Carousels – Mad Tea Party Pin
    • Limited Edition of 2000
    • $22.99
  • Inwells of Evil – The Wicked Witch Pin
    • Limited Edition of 4000
    • $22.99

Let me know which of the two released this Tuesday you like more. I like the Mad Tea Party pin personally.

Muppet Memorial Moment

After securing the pin content I made my way to what was known as Muppet Courtyard. No major changes have been made yet, but I am not looking forward to the day that the PizzeRizzo sign isn’t there or Gonzo hanging from the big clock.

I was happy to see that the Sam Eagle tumblers were still in stock in 5&10 and Mickey’s of Hollywood, I even found them in EPCOT later in the day. It does seem that the Sam Eagle mug is currently sold out.

New Pin and Skyliner Rides

Left: Disney Skyliner entrance. Right: Hand holds EPCOT Disney Limited Pins of Minnie Mouse with suitcase and Pluto with box.

On my way out of Hollywood Studios, I found one more pin in 5&10. This pin is an open-edition pin featuring Mickey and Pluto. If you have ever seen the 1940 short, ‘Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip’, this pin set should look very familiar. This pin set is available for $22.99.

I took the Disney Skyliner to the back entrance of EPCOT, International Gateway. I have a love-hate relationship with the back entrance of EPCOT. Oftentimes, it’s inconvenient unless you’re staying at one of the resorts close by, but even then, if you want to end your day at the front of EPCOT you still have to walk to the back to catch the Skyliner to your resort. There are no busses for skyliner resorts unless the Skyliner is down for weather or maintenance. It’s a pain and a learning curve.

Friendship Boat

When I arrived at the International Gateway I noticed a Friendship boat was being towed, but not to the elbow parking spot and not toward the marina. Maybe this was some training or boat trading, but as a former boat captain, I’m not sure what was happening here.

Collette’s Bike and Vive la France Remy

A black motorcycle outside, a close-up of its front wheel, and a Remy plush chef with EPCOT vibes on the counter.

When I arrived in the France pavilion I was excited to see Collette’s front bike tire had been repaired, but still no sign of Luigi’s bike. I was tickled by the tiny France flag tied around the plush Remy in one of the shops. I love that the cultural representatives are having fun.

New Ratatouille Adventure Pins

Collage of Ratatouille-themed Disney Limited Pins and the entrance to a shop at EPCOT with a green-striped awning.

In L’Esprit de la Provence I found two new pins for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. The colorful pin is available for $12.99, while the silver pin is a bit more expensive at $14.99. I really like the silver version, you don’t see many pins like it.

Princess Jasmine in Morocco Pavilion

Princess Jasmine found a friend to walk around the Morocco pavilion with this morning. It’s always fun watching the families and kids react to being the chosen one by the characters. Unfortunately, the seat remains missing in the Race Against the Sun experience.

Kawaii Room and Last Decades iPhone Throwback

A pastel-themed bedroom with Disney decor, plush toys, EPCOT accents, and two iPhones with character charms on display.

One of my favorite hideouts is the Kawaii Museum in the Japan pavilion. I especially love the subtle nods to Tokyo Disney and the antique iPhones. I remember using that phone so seeing it displayed is always a bit strange.

Let me know if you miss the button feature on the iPhone in the comments below. I sorta forgot it was ever there.

Italy Updates Glass in Lightposts

Split image: ornate black lampposts in a plaza at EPCOT, and a tall building covered with a printed construction tarp.

If you can indulge me for a moment. The glass on the lamposts in the Italy pavilion used to have some clear and some pink. I can promise you that this lampost at one point had entirely pink glass, then last week some glass was missing, and now this week everything is clear.

I’m still so curious about the pink glass, and honestly, if I didn’t have picture proof I would think I was being gaslit.

Pet Relief Area Opens Between Germany and Italy Pavilions

A small, shaded dog relief area near a lamp post with a festival banner at EPCOT, bordered by plants and trees.

WHOOP! Only the hardest-hitting news ends up in this photo report. All jokes aside, I am happy to report that the pet relief area has now opened in between the Italy and Germany pavilions. I am a huge fan, I would rather the pets have a place to go comfortably than go anywhere at all. Kids do too many full-body floor moments to have it any other way.

Tiny Village Drama

All is well in the tiny German pavilion village. Our tiny friend still holds it down at the tower, clutching her teddy bear. The small boy working is standing again, unharmed from his previous experience of being run over by the cart. He’s still working though.

At the chapel, a new character has entered the chat, as the kids would say. A man in a blue uniform hides among the bushes away from the rest of the wedding party. I wonder what his deal is. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Lillies Are Blooming in the China Pavilion

Collage: Woman in traditional dress, man walking, lotus pond, and Hollywood Studios' Asian-style building with red pillars.

There isn’t much to report from the China pavilion, but I wanted to share one of the first lilies to bloom. I love the lily ponds at the front of this pavilion.

La Princesa de Cristal – Crystal Pyramid

Collage of pyramid replicas at EPCOT, a "Fiesta Siesta Repeat" T-shirt, and carved stone pyramid steps.

Inside the pyramid, there is a hand-made crystal pyramid. I remember watching Miguel, from the Arribas Brothers, start this project last year. I am so excited to finally see it displayed. Unfortunately, the actual pyramid remains surrounded by construction. There is scaffolding on the far left, a wall to the far right, and concrete work expanding in front.

Good news though the Fiesta, Siesta, Repeat shirt from La Cava del Tequila has been restocked. I think we had a reader almost a year ago ask us where this shirt went, well it’s back now.

Creations Shop Finds

Collage of Disney merchandise: canvas backpack, Mickey hoodie, Starbucks tumbler, Hollywood Studios pins, princess bracelets.

In the Creations Shop, I found lots of fun things. My favorite find was the Pluto pin, but I can’t remember with certainty which short this is from. I think it’s from Springtime for Pluto, but I’m not positive. Let me know if you know what short the pin is from in the comments below. It’s eating at me. The pin is available for $12.99.

There is also a set of new DIY bracelet cases. The princess and Frozen DIY sets are available for $24.99 each. I think this would be something fun to bring on the trip home for something to do.

The green hoodie is super lightweight and perfect for any Fall evening in Florida. You know once the sun goes down and you’ve been in the sun all day you just need something light to wear. The hoodie is available for $49.99.

There are two sales available in Creations currently as well.

The Seas Updates

There wasn’t much going on at the Seas. The mystery scrim remains at the entrance. I have to believe Disney is working on a sign here to help invite guests to this otherwise dead-end empty corner. The manatees are doing well, and the baby Cuttlefish are growing fast. They were only the size of my pinky nail a few weeks ago, now they are the size of a silver dollar.

I think it’s a bit funny that an entire display in the gift shop has been filled with diapers and underwear, but I guess the water may have that effect on tiny untrained bladders.

Sunshine Seasons Decor?

Six wall-mounted dispensers filled with colorful balls above a kitchen counter evoke a fun EPCOT or Hollywood Studios vibe.

Weird find in Sunshine Seasons. I have no idea who came up with this or why, but apparently, the M&M dispenser has been turned into a colorful ping-pong ball display. Not edible. Weird choice, but better than them being empty I guess.

Let me know your thoughts on this decor choice in the comments below.

Cheddar and Churro Puffs – $3.79 each

Two hands hold Disney-themed cheddar and churro puffs, perfect snacks for a day at Hollywood Studios or EPCOT.

In ImageWorks, I found new Disney snacks. Cheddar-flavored Puffs remind me of Cheeto Puffs and Churro-flavored Puffs don’t remind me of anything, but I may need to try that one on a different day.

Skyliner Rides

Entrance sign for Disney Skyliner under a blue sky, with people heading to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios stations.

After finishing my walk in EPCOT I hopped on the Skyliner to head back to Hollywood Studios, but I got a bit sidetracked and wasn’t ready for the day to end yet so I cheated.

Pop Century Updates

Collage of Pop Century Resort entrance, Baloo and Mowgli statue, and Skyliner station sign to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

I stopped into Disney’s Pop Century Resort to find that the refurbishments of Baloo and Mowgli have been completed. Unfortunately, if you’re like me and are looking out for the restock of the Skyliner ears they haven’t come in yet, and it doesn’t seem like they will be coming in soon.

I hope you enjoyed our day around the parks. I most enjoyed just existing and getting exercise. Next time I see those Churro Puffs, I may have to try them. Let me know in the comments below if you have a favorite moment or find from today’s adventures.
