Walt Disney Imagineering shared photos of the new Test Track sign on Tuesday morning and we now have our first in-person look at it from the Walt Disney World Monorail, plus a new name for the Test Track gift shop.

New Test Track Sign

The sign is where the old sign was, in a circle a few yards in front of the show building. Concrete was poured in the circle a few weeks ago, and the new sign was installed last week, but was not uncovered until today.

The sign features the new Test Track logo, first revealed on construction walls, and “Presented by gm general motors.” Test Track is reverting to the GM sponsorship after 12 years sponsored by Chevrolet, a division of GM. As WDWNT previously noted, the sign is different from concept art, which still said “Presented by Chevrolet.”

Construction workers install a new sign outside the modern, curved glass building near the Test Track and gift shop.

Behind the sign is the attraction’s new entrance overhang. Paneling appears complete or near completion, with silver-gray panels on the sides of the rounded structure. Signs hang underneath the structure for the stand-by, Lightning Lane, and single rider queues.

A modern building with a curved metal facade, near trees and greenery, features a new sign for the Test Track gift shop.

There’s new signage above the doors to the Test Track gift shop, too. These blue panels match the new Test Track logo.

A zoomed-in look reveals the store will be called Test Track Gear Shop. It was previously Test Track SIMporium; it is still listed under this name on the Walt Disney World website at the time of publishing. Before the 2012 reimagining, it was Inside Track.

The reimagined Test Track, which takes inspiration from World of Motion, is scheduled to reopen in late summer 2025. Disney has not announced an exact date.
