“Fear Factor Live” never reopened after the COVID-19 shutdown, and the stage is now exclusively used for Halloween Horror Nights shows. For the last several years, the Halloween stage show has been a variation of “Nightmare Fuel.” Last year’s was “Nightmare Fuel: Nocturnal Circus.”

The Fear Factor Stage is a covered outdoor structure, partially hidden by trees and lush greenery.

From outside the theater, we could see new black curtains hanging over the performance space.

Near one of the theater’s exterior stairs, crews had staged pipes for set supports. We could hear active work inside the theater.

Similar Halloween Horror Nights prep began around this same time last year.

Universal has not announced what this year’s stage show will be. Halloween Horror Nights 34 at Universal Studios Florida will have its earliest start date ever of August 29, 2025. It runs on select nights through November 2.
