As a summer surprise, the guest-favorite waffles have returned to Sleepy Hollow at Magic Kingdom after being replaced by Mickey waffles last year. Naturally, we had to venture out to the park to review all three returning options.
Sleepy Hollow is located in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom, across the bridge from the castle hub and across from Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe.
Sleepy Hollow Waffles Return

The updated options are once again served on classic round waffles, perfect for folding up into a “waffle sandwich.” These are available all day long and have been since 2022.
Waffle with Sweet-and-Spicy Maple Chicken – $12.29
Served with maple-sriracha glaze and parsley flakes
The waffle here is super plain, with nothing going on — not even butter. The chicken was tough and a bit on the dry side, but still edible. The breading on the chicken is good, with a nice crunch to it.
We couldn’t taste any of the spice from the sriracha, but the maple came across more as general sweetness than an identifiable maple flavor.

It’s a fine option if you’re really hungry for chicken and waffles, but it’s a bit boring. And for the price, you could probably find something a little more substantial and interesting.

Waffle with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, Bananas, Berries, and Whipped Cream – $9.49
Served with chocolate-hazelnut spread, bananas, berries, and whipped cream
This waffle was the best of the three to us with the most flavors in the mix, and all worked well together.
The only downside here is that this is quite a heavy dish, and it gets a bit bogged down in the center. We do wish we could’ve gotten more blueberries, though.

You don’t have to race over to try this, but if you happen to be in the area and in need of a rich breakfast treat, this will hit the spot.

Waffle with Berries, Powdered Sugar, and Whipped Cream – $8.49
Served with powdered sugar, strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream
Once again, this waffle is a bit boring, but does present itself as a good option for picky eaters with its minimal toppings and basic flavor profile. However, the fruit will make the waffle a bit moist and mushy, so if that’s a texture you prefer to avoid, you might want to skip this one.

It’s good, but it’s not going to rock your world.

Overall Thoughts
We think that these are all great and edible options for a quick bite in Magic Kingdom, and are glad to see the classic waffles return.. We especially love that they’re available all day long, so even if you’re at the park from rope drop to park close, you can still enjoy breakfast at noon if that’s what you’re after.
The chocolate-hazelnut spread waffle was our favorite of the three, but we think there’s an option here for every member in your party. However, if you’re avoiding high-carb Disney snacks, this is not for you. Aside from that, we think these options are much better than how they were when served on Mickey waffles.
