Stormalong Bay is a 3-acre pool area that has been closed for maintenance since January. It features a sand-bottomed pool, a lazy river, and three whirlpool spas. During the closure, the pool was resurfaced, and the deck around the water was redone.

The area also received new cabanas and seating. Crews have been adding water back into the pool over the past few weeks.

Hurricane Hanna’s Bar and Grill at Stormalong Bay also reopened. The bar is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Shipwreck Pool and waterslide remain closed for refurbishment. In a post on Disney Parks Blog, Disney shared that these amenities would reopen later this summer.

Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Resorts also offer three smaller leisure pools: the Tidal pool, Admiral pool, and Dunes Cove pool. All include whirlpool spas.
