Glow-in-the-Dark Monorail Logos at Walt Disney World

In a recent update shared by Disney on the Disney Experiences webpage, the monorails will all be receiving new exterior logos made to glow in the dark. These new logos will be highly visible at night, making them easier to see from a distance.
The image shows a Cast Member wearing the blue “Transport” costume beside one monorail. The new logo is bright blue and says “Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation.” In the light, the logo has a slightly holographic appearance. The monorail in the image appears to be Monorail Blue, which returned from a minor refurbishment in 2024.

According to the update, all of the monorail fleet at Walt Disney World will be debuting the new glow-in-the-dark logos sometime this week, though an exact date was not shared yet, “This week, they’re adding another new feature, which allows the logo on each train to glow in the dark.”
This is one of the more recent updates to the Walt Disney World monorail, following the addition of the lights underneath each train that illuminate the beam in a color matching each monorail’s name. These lights were originally added in 2021 as part of the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebrations, though they have seen various updates and changes since then.
Meanwhile, the Disneyland Monorail also just reopened following an extended refurbishment earlier this year.
