In a post on Instagram, Universal has announced the surprise Celestial Park music release of three songs from the official Celestial Park soundtrack. All three Celestial Park songs are dropping tonight, July 26, at 12:01 a.m. The post did not include any more information about the nature of the songs, their names, or the total length. There was also not a full list of where the songs will become available, but it is expected to be most standard music streaming platforms.

Also included with the same post was the news that Universal will be dropping a complete music album on vinyl and streaming platforms sometime in 2026. The post did not specifically state how long the full album will be, but it is expected to include all of the new Celestial Park music.

Celestial Park Soundtrack

Like many areas of Epic Universe, Celestial Park has a unique background soundtrack playing throughout the day. Universal has confirmed the music of Celestial Park is extremely lengthy, “supported by 40 hours of musical content (14 of which are original) and 16 background music zones, the world acts as a series of sensorily connected experiences.”

As one example, the section of the park closest to the Chronos and the park’s main entrance is called Luna’s Court of the Moon, and the music there uses more string and woodwind instruments. The opposite side of the park, dubbed Helios’ Court of the Sun and anchored by the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, has more brass and percussion in its score. So while there are some repeated musical themes overall, there are many variations that add up to the reported 40 hours of content.

The attractions in Celestial Park also have multiple music tracks. The dueling Stardust Racers roller coaster utilizes the music of Celestial Park, which shifts sounds based on the time of day, “flipping its soundtrack from the daytime’s brassy sound that imbues adventure and going to the races with a celestial, synthy nighttime energy.”

The large Constellation Carousel also has “seven different compositions,” encouraging guests to ride multiple times for different musical experiences.

Dark Universe Vinyl

A Dark Universe vinyl record featuring the world’s original score composed by Danny Elfman is already available inside the park. The music is featured throughout the world, including in the village of Darkmoor, the gift shops, the dining venues Das Stakehaus and The Burning Blade Tavern, Monsters Unchained, and Curse of the Werewolf.
