Spaceship Earth Construction Permit
The Notice of Commencement is for “General Construction” at 2060 Avenue of the Stars, the address for the EPCOT icon. It contracts Engineering Design Solutions. Like most construction permits, it expires in one year, on June 30, 2026.
Spaceship Earth Closing
Spaceship Earth will be closed for routine maintenance beginning on August 25, 2025. It will reopen later this year, although a date is not yet available.
GEO-82 Will Remain Open Durring Spaceship Earth Closing
A Spaceship Earth bar, GEO-82, recently opened at the back of the building and is expected to remain open during the ride’s refurbishment.
