Walls, Walls Everywhere! Construction walls now extend further into the pathway between Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Construction Walls Extended

Last week, a new section of construction walls was added at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, on the side of the guest walkway connecting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with Toy Story Land. Now, those walls have been extended almost all the way into Toy Story Land.

These walls are where temporary seating for Woody’s Lunch Box was located last year while construction was wrapping up on its covered seating expansion. The seating area was removed in February, so it is possible that these walls could be up as crews work to restore this area from that use.

The construction walls recently erected near the exit/entrance of Toy Story Land on the walkway leading toward Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge have also been extended to surround the planter area that typically houses the Toy Story Land sign, which is currently missing.

Additional orange film-themed signs are also posted on several of the expanded construction wall panels with quotes. The quotes are a mixture of lines from the many “Toy Story” films.

While some of the quotes are fun and meaningful, others mention moving forward, likely referring to the continued improvement of the area. One of the quotes by the Green Army Men reads, “Recon Plan Charlie. Execute! Let’s Move! Move. Move. Move. Move.”

“Yodel-ay-hee-hoo!” and “I’ll have to perform one of my…operations!” are among other film quotes still posted on the panels.

There has been ongoing construction around the exit queue of the Toy Story Mania attraction for years, at least in part for the addition of covered seating at Woody’s Lunch Box. A recent permit could potentially be related to this construction, although much of the new seating area is now open.
